Sleep Walking

As a child I would sometimes wake up in strange places, like my closet or while I was walking down a hallway.  I was also told that I sat up from a dead sleep and waved my arm around while saying "I told you I was right, I told you I was right."  My two oldest children seem to have inherited this from me.  If I don't help Letty up to her bed when she has fallen asleep on the couch she will end up not in her bed, sometimes in the bathroom, someone else's bed, or the upstairs couch.  The other night she came downstairs in the middle of the night acting all panicked and went into the laundry room, then came out and she had a shirt in her hand.  I asked her what she was doing and she yelled at me saying that she needed to find her shorts.  She was asleep.  I had to help her back up to her bed and tell her to go back to sleep.  Well, last night after I had gone to bed I heard the boys' bedroom door open and shut.  I was waiting to see if Ace was coming into our room and then I heard what sounded like water being spilled on the floor.  I got up and walk out into the hallway and there is Thomas, sleeping, and peeing all over the floor.  At least he was still in the hall where the flooring is linoleum.  I yelled at him to stop and that he wasn't in the bathroom.  He stopped, but didn't say a word.  Dan came out and asked him if he was done and if not to go into the bathroom and finish.  He kind of just stood there confused, still asleep.  Dan ended up walking him back to his bed.  Of course, when I told him what happened last night he got all embarrassed and didn't remember a thing.

1st Place AAA Washington Little League Yankees

Dan coached Thomas’ baseball team again this year and they did so amazing.  Our team ended up getting 1st place and we got a trophy.  Dan decided to put Thomas in the game as catcher this year and it was a perfect fit for him.  Too bad we hadn’t figured this out earlier.  Thomas absolutely loves playing catcher.  It keeps him busy during the entire game and keeps him focused on the game.  He did so well this year too, hit a home run, got some great outs.  We had the best team ever.

So proud of our AAA Little League Yankees! Another win tonight, it was a nail biter, came down to the last inning and we pulled it out. Our boys were on FIRE! Only one more game to go and I just found out that even if we end up losing that game we will still get 1st place in the AAA League. Which means we get a trophy! Yippee! Congratulations Dan and John Kemp and Paul Tauiliili for the awesome coaching job.

Lemonade Stands

Letty has been literally obsessed with lemonade stands this year.  She has been wanting to do one every single day.  So, I decided that we needed to make her a “real” sign.  I got out my cricut and some spray adhesive and put together this sign for her on a scrap piece of wood we had laying around.  I think it turned out pretty darn cute, if I must say so myself.

Easter 2012

I actually let the kids use the regular old egg dying method this time, instead of just the silk tie method we've been doing every year. We did dye most of the eggs with silk ties and they turned out so cool. We had 5 new ties to use this year and one of them had Tigger on it and the egg turned out AWESOME!  Silk dyed eggs are the best!

Flooding Little Boys

Went out back and was talking with the neighbor for a minute and Ace walks outside and he's all wet. I come into my master bathroom to find it completely flooded, at least an inch deep in water. He took a brand new roll of toilet paper and shoved it in the toilet and flushed and flushed while it flooded the room. I've now used every single towel in the house, dirty and clean to sop up the water and just threw them in the tub. The tub is full of soaking wet towels now. Yuck!

I got my hair cut today and Jacyn decided she wanted a hair cut too.  I think we look pretty cute.

Thunder over Utah Air Show

The Blue Angels Air Show came to our town for the first time.  It was so perfect because the airport is right behind our house.  We were able to watch these incredible planes flying right over our house.  Here are the pictures I was able to take.

The only time this plane flew was during a practice run, not even during the air show.  I took this picture from my backyard.
